Medical Executive Assistant
In support of high quality patient care, we are currently seeking an experienced Medical Executive Assistant (MEA) to support our many physician practices.
The MEA will assist the assigned physician team with a variety of administrative tasks to ensure quality service that meets our patient and physician expectations. Under the general direction of the department manager, he/she performs a multitude of secretarial duties including, but not limited to scheduling office visits, ancillary tests and surgeries, new patient intake, triaging calls, preparation of charge tickets, and insurance pre-certification.
This full-time position provides necessary coverage for the secretarial department and may work in any one of our locations daily, with start times as early as 6:30 a.m. Work locations and start times that can vary from day to day. Flexibility is a must!
Requirements of this position include two or more years of similar experience within a medical/surgical practice, knowledge and skills to verify patient insurances, ability to multi-task, able to manage heavy volume of incoming and outgoing phone calls, excellent computer skills, and exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

Reliable transportation is required for travel between our office locations.
