Biography

Dr. Kevin Burton grew up in Old Lyme, Connecticut. He attended Boston College and the University of Connecticut Medical School.

Surgical training began at the University of Connecticut in General Surgery and then transitioned to residency in Orthopedic Surgery. As a chief resident he was recognized with the Cavazos award as the resident of the year. He later completed a Hand and Microvascular Surgical Fellowship at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York. He is currently Assistant Clinical Professor of Orthopedic Surgery on the volunteer faculty of the School of Medicine.

Dr. Burton’s practice focuses on problems of the hand, wrist, and elbow as well as Orthopedic trauma. Office hours are held in the Farmington, Glastonbury, and Rocky Hill offices.

He is a local emergency and disaster volunteer and was proud to participate in the Haiti earthquake response effort. He and his wife are active supporters of the Connecticut Humane Society.
